About

Casey Spicer, MS, LMFT 118458, Therapist

I bring warmth, honesty, and curiosity to every session. My approach is grounded in DBT, an evidenced and skills-based therapy created to help develop awareness, regulate emotions, tolerate distress and build healthier relationships with yourself and others.

In addition to DBT, I integrate techniques from Somatic Experiencing and Polyvagal Theory to support nervous system regulation. Together, we’ll create a customized treatment plan that aligns with your unique goals and needs.

Areas of Focus
I work with teens (15+) and adults navigating:

  • Mood and anxiety disorders

  • Relationship difficulties

  • Life transitions and young adulthood

  • Pregnancy, postpartum, and parenthood

Why Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)?
DBT combines mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. These skills can empower you to respond to life’s challenges with greater acceptance, control and self-compassion.
